Tough game, everyone! We fought hard but came up just short. Our bowling had a rough start, with the first over going for 12 runs, but Chirag J and Vinod had  a brilliant comeback, followed by outstanding bowling from Pravin, who delivered 4 overs, gave only 3 runs, and took 4 wickets. Amazing performance! Chasing a target of 94 runs, we struggled to build early partnerships and lost 2 wickets cheaply. Meghal and Pravin formed a strong partnership, but Pravin's unfortunate dismissal broke the momentum. Meghal anchored one end, but wickets kept falling at the other. It was a close game right until the end. Overall, a great effort by everyone. This has been our best season for Gully so far, making it to the playoffs.  We've improved in all three departments this season, so let's keep up the progress and rock the next season.

Tough game last weekend. Our bowling was solid and a great fielding effort again, with outstanding catches from everyone on the field. A special mention to Vivek Sir @Vivek Shankar for his incredible catches at point.However, our batting needed more application. We struggled to build partnerships as the opponents consistently took wickets. Ricky @Rahul (ricky) Kumar  played beautifully though, with stunning inside-out shots over cover, he needed some support from other batsmen. Nevertheless good fight by everyone, let’s bounce back strongly in the next game.

Great game, team! Fantastic win. Amazing bowling by everyone, and the fielding effort was outstanding again. We kept the pressure on the batters with quick throws, brilliant catches and constant cheering which also saved 10-15 runs in the field easily. Excellent runouts by @Chandra Gully and @Tanuj. Excellent catches behind the wicket by @Tanuj. Bowlers also bowled stump to stump line, as @Mkg 🏏 says “wicket mein maar isko”  which gave us 4 bowled. At one point, the opponents were at 59/8, but they managed to get a good partnership at the end and finished at 81. Our batting was superb, with solid partnerships from @Rahul (ricky) Kumar  (Ricky), Sumit, and @Pravin Sandiagu. Running between the wickets was important which allowed us to score at a run rate of 5-6 runs per over and put the opposition under pressure. Pravin's amazing hitting at the end sealed the deal for us. Overall great performance by everyone. Let's keep this energy and move on to the next game!

Tough game guys! It was an excellent bowling effort. They started strong, but we fought back brilliantly thanks to @Chirag J , @Vinodh and @Pravin Sandiagu’s exceptional bowling. They scored 45 runs in the first 10 overs but were all out at 66. It was a fantastic comeback, supported by outstanding fielding even with wet field.  We took amazing catches both inside the circle and at the boundary, all 10 wickets were caught out and we didn’t drop a single catch. However, our batting let us down this time. The opponent bowled really well, they were using cutters with good pace and there was some movement as well. Pravin batted really well and fought hard but needed more support to keep the scoreboard ticking, as wickets kept falling. Something we need to consider, slowing the game down when we lose consecutive wickets. Let’s focus on the next games and comback strong!  Go Gully! 💪🏻💪🏻

Exceptional bowling from everyone who bowled today. We got some early breakthroughs that applied immense pressure on the opponent and then our disciplined bowling from everyone ensured they were restricted to 57 runs. Despite a few dropped catches, our fielding was exceptional today. It’s always difficult to judge under the lights but our quick reactions in our throws were brilliant. @Amit Pandey, @Ranjith Murugan and @Karthik showed remarkable presence of mind with the runout. We also saved so many runs while fielding so brilliant effort there as well. Batting was also amazing today, with @Chirag Parikh Gully and @Mkg 🏏 providing a solid start followed by spectacular finish from @Pravin Sandiagu. Pravin, we wanted to see those shots for a long time, when you move to offside off and hit it over deep mid wicket or deep fine, amazing batting! Let’s keep this momentum going and continue to improve like we did today in our fielding.
